Learning Log #11

We got a bunch of cinder blocks, and then we nailed a nail in the ground, and then we put a dog lash on it to get our measurements just right.  And we put a bunch of cinder blocks in a circle standing up on end.  And then we put a whole bunch of cinder blocks up on top of those ones that were laid flat.  And we did it all in one day.  And then it was all finished except for one little cinder block was out of place.  And then our cousins come over and we video taped them putting the last brick in place.

We went to this cool town thing, it was like a little town. And we got to walk around in a mall. And we went to see the nutcracker. And after that we got to walk around in the mall. And we bought oriental food and chocolate.  And the egg rolls were delicious.  So were the noodles and the rice. And I liked the shrimp and all that other stuff. etc. etc. etc.

We went to see the cousins nativity play. And it was really cool because at first it started with a bunch of people dancing. And at the end for the big finally all the angels came out and sung hark the Harold angles sing. And then at the end we all sung the first verse of silent night, everyone in the audience and all the actors.

One time at the doctors we were waiting in the waiting room.  And we were board so Papa decided to talk about atoms and he said that atoms are like a great big sun with a planet orbiting around them.  The sun is called a proton and then the little planet that orbits around it is a neutron. If the little sun on the atom was the size of our sun then the planet orbiting around it would be farther then Pluto, because it is such a big space between the proton and the neutron.
